Don't be afraid to go green


This recipe has been mentioned a few times on my blog and on our facebook page so I thought take a photo and share it with you all. The good thing about this smoothie is that it’s super healthy but the little ones love it because of the colour. You can’t even taste the spinach; this taste just like a banana smoothie but it is the most vibrant green colour. You can obviously change the ingredients to suit your tastes. Enjoy.

Preparation time
2 minutes
 
Ingredients 
1 cup milk 
1 cup spinach 
1 banana 
1 tbs honey 
1 tbs LSA (linseed, sunflower & almonds)

Method
1. Place all the ingredients into the blender and keep blending until the liquid has a smooth texture. Add more milk if desired. 

Serves 2 toddlers
