I’m a 30-something, graphic designer and food-loving mother of three. I'm a proud stay-at-home-Mum that decided that the magazine world was not for me anymore. We recently made the big move from the eastern suburbs of Sydney to the Northern beaches, and we have never looked back.
I have three beautiful girls all under the age of 3.5 years. They bring me more joy than I could ever have imagined feeling. They also can bring more frustration that I thought I could ever feel but that's normal right? I have a wonderful Husband who supports me in everything I do, especially this blog. He never complains about me having to spend lots of money on ingredients, or eating cold food as I have to take a photo of our meals before we tuck in! I'm a very, very lucky person.
This blog was originally born of frustration cooking for a two year old (our eldest daughter), and the search for quick, healthy food. My idea for this blog came about after meeting up with fellow Mums at playgroup. We always find ourselves chatting about what we plan to cook later that night. We are all over having spag bol, nuggets and fish fingers on high rotation! So my hope with this blog is to get a library of food together that we can all share. I will find recipes but I would also love it if you could send in recipes too. I will cook, style (please note that I am no Nigella!) and take a photo.
Since inception we’ve broadened our horizons and will now aim to include not just recipe ideas, but other little snippets which relate to food, creativity, little-people, and life generally.
I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I enjoy putting it all together. Please let me know if you try any of our recipes as i love feedback.
